'Searching for the Truth' is about trying to find meaning in a world that doesn't always seem to make sense. It's also about finding out what truly is important in this life.
A huge thank you goes out to Tommy Lee for filming and putting the video together. I would also like to thank Andy Spiller for his awesome audio production skills along with Tim Turan from Turan Audio for his mastering. And finally I would like to thank my girlfreind Claire Walker for being a constant source of encouragement and support.
If you like the track and would like to download it prior to the album release I will be putting on my bandcamp website next monday on the 18th of September.
On the 22nd of July I'll be playing a 90 minute set with a 9 piece band including a horn section. We'll be playing a mixture of original songs and funky cover songs.
This event is part of a series of events that we are hosting on the 22nd and 23rd as part of my co owned music tuition company called XYZ Music Academy. My concert is a free bonus concert to make the most out the incredible space while we are there. The event is free but you'll still need a ticket for it so we can keep a tab on numbers.

Feel free to tell your friends about this. It's a large space to fill and I want to make the most out of this great opportunity playing such a great venue.
It's been a long time since I have released any new music, so it is with great pleasure that I can say that I have just released a new music video today for my song 'Fools Rush In'.
The song will be available to purchase on the 20th of March from all of the major online music stores.
Happy Valentines Day!
All the best
I have recently put up a playlist of my launch for my EP 'Blown Away' at the 100 club. The playlist features a small selection of tracks from the evening spanning from my older material right up to some of the most recent tracks that I've been working on.
April is shaping up to be a busy month. I have started the month by doing an interview for Take 2 Radio. In the interview I talk about my musical journey from the beginning all the way up to my current plans.
Happy Belated New Year to you all!,
Last year I only realised one single, which wasn't the amount of new stuff I was hoping for.
On the upside of things, I have almost completed an album of funky pop rock, which I plan to release a bit later in the year. Prior to the album release I have decided follow up my 'New State of Mind' heavy sound with an EP of old and new material that focuses on my Rock Roots.
Below is a video of the first studio diary of the EP's recording sessions.
New State of Mind is the first single to be taken from my latest album, which is still under development currently. The Single will be released 03/09/2012
Starring in the video is Brentford Football Club's goalkeeper Richard Lee, who just so happens to be my older brother.
The video re-enacts Richard's first season at Brentford where he made a less than glamorous start. Through hard work and having a NEW STATE OF MIND ;) he overcame his difficulties to have a great season.
When writing the song I drew influence from Richard's story as well as using similar personal challenges of my own where I felt in a rut without direction. The song serves as a reminder that you can only achieve great things with a great state of mind.
Richard has put his ideas into a sports psychology book called 'Graduation - Life Lessons of a Professional Footballer'. It's a great read and I thoroughly recommend checking it out.
The Band Members in the video are
- Michael Lee - Vocals, Guitar
- Chris Pethers - Bass
- Duncan Lee - Drums
Here is a video of me covering Signed Sealed Delivered at a wedding last year.
Here is a cover of the classic Police song 'Every Little Thing She Does is Magic'.
Tonight I will be featured on the Louis Chadwick show between 7 and 10pm.
The appearance is primarily to promote my gig in Banbury at the Wheatsheaf and the release of my Album and Single.
Banbury Sound can be found 107.6fm. If you are out of range you can listen online at
The promotion of the new single and album is going well so far and I have already started receiving reviews already.
